My new year started off rough. My boyfriend of 4 years left me, I'm still unemployed and struggling to find both freelance work and a full time job, and my lease is up in March. I've been scrounging for commissions to help make ends meet, and I've started having the gigs slowly but surely come in!
My time has largely been dedicated to work and my writing. Sorry this month is a bit of a disappointment in the art zone!
This has been a busy, and chaotic year for me. I was not able to create as much art as I would have liked, but I created several important pieces. Many goals were met, and that's far more important.
We're very pleased that Arun has responded and we are now collecting information and screenshots for a correction statement. We are glad that Arun is allowing us to share what truly happened with the TJM petition, and correct the misinformation that Kyle spread. More to come.

This needs to be said because I feel like even 3 years later, we still can't shake this drama off.
Arun interviewed Kyle Vance on his show, labeling him "the creator of the OpRuth Group" and touted him as being one of the main contributors to the fandom. This is insulting to all the people who worked hard behind the scenes to help make TJM happen; myself included.
Kyle was NOT a creator or a contributor. Yes, he was a part of the OpRuth Group and the 100,000 TJM group, but in terms of contribution - he did NOTHING.
You want to know what Kyle did? He drew some fanart of little duck versions of the HA! characters, but they were not used for official events or banners for the groups. He did not help with the 15,000 signature petition. He did not help, period.
You know what he DID do? He aided in inciting anarchy in the 100,000 TJM group, aided in harassing the OG admins of the 100,000 TJM group, and even personally attacked me saying that he would "beat the shit out of me if he ever saw me in person." Those are the "contributions" Kyle made to the fandom and TJM.
We, the OG admins, sent Arun a message asking him to make a correction on his show. It is a gross injustice that out of all the people who have worked hard in the fandom, and worked specifically on the petition, that this would be the person he chooses as a representative. At this time, we are giving Arun the benefit of the doubt, as we don't know what circumstances caused this misrepresentation to happen. However, this post is here because it is an INJUSTICE that this internet troll is being propped up in honor of TJM.
We the OG admins have been happy to sit in the background, and just let TJM happen, and be happy it's happening. We don't need public accolades for the work we did. We worked our butts off because we believed in making TJM a reality. However, if specific representatives are going to be credited, then the correct people should be the ones credited.
Below are the journals about the 15,000 signature petition that helped boost awareness to make TJM happen. Kyle was not a part of this project, even though it was an official OpRuth and 100,00 TJM project:
As previously stated - we are waiting on a response from Arun about the unfortunate mishap of him interviewing Kyle. The big contributors to the petition, OpRuth, and the 100,000 TJM group should include:
:
and YourEverydayMia (even though she also was the main instigator in the incidents, she was a main creator and contributor, and her contributions cannot be overlooked).
This is not a complete list, as there were so many others who also contributed big works that helped make TJM happen, however, this is the core group. We hope that Arun will make a statement, rectifying this. We do not seek honor or glory, simply proper credit where credit is due.
